We have been having movie nights for a few months now. In July we did a Sandra Dee beach party and Wendy showed up with a hilarious outfit complete with flippers and swimming cap. Our next movie night was put on by Wendy with a Mask theme--complete with a Mari Gras atmosphere. October is always Wanda's night when we do our Witching Night Out. We sort of gave mom the shaft with November. It was her turn but with the month being so busy, we decided to have a long Thanksgiving weekend together doing crafts. December flew by and January was almost over and Wendy asked me what we were doing for my movie night. After much deliberation, I chose a "Hat" theme. We have adopted our cousin Carol for our new sister so she came and added to the fun. Here are a few of the photos for the evening. We had A BALL!

Carol in a complete cowboy outfit-- including her Wholly-Wooly-Chaps worn by her dad when he was young! How about those bow-legs!

An interesting bunch, I'd have to say!

I chose to be a latin dancer with a fruit-filled hat. I felt like I was back in Mrs. Simm's Home Ec class learning how to balance a book on my head!

Although Wanda had a much cooler hat than a regular sombrero, we hit the floor with a few smooth moves that shook the house.

Yes, that is Wanda. She likes great big chilis. What a hoot! She even came with a gold tooth and a snarl that would scare any Comanchero!
