This year we did things a bit different. Because it was going to be such nice weather--finally--Wanda decided that it would be nice to do our witches house on her porch rather than inside the house like we normally do. It turned out sooooo GREAT! There was so much more room and a much better flow. Wendy ended up sick for the night so that messed things up for a little bit. We are really good at playing off of one another and when she was gone, it messed up the flow a bit. We had a pretty good turn out. As the kids would leave, we could hear them. "That was AWESOME!' "We gotta come back here next year!!!" That makes it all worth it.
Because the ward trunk or treat wasn't on the same night, we didn't have a long line of waiting people so it made it much more fun for us. We were able to get back to the original idea of having kids do tricks for their treats. We had a great variety of "talent" from singing songs, to telling jokes, and even a kung-fu kick here and there. Other than Wendy being gone and me not knowing how to work my new camera yet (the pictures didn't turn out all that wonderful), it was a very fun evening.
